As a teenager, I visited family out in Wyoming and was introduced to a local coin shop. It wasn’t polished or modern — but what stood out was that everything in that shop had real value. It didn’t need to look impressive or try to sell anything. The value spoke for itself.

That experience sparked my interest in coins.

Back home in Massachusetts, I started spending time at my local coin shop, learning as much as I could. Over time, that turned into buying and selling, and eventually working in the shop itself. I gained several years of hands-on experience there and developed a strong understanding of the business.

At one point, I planned to take that next step and buy the shop — but life had other plans. After meeting my wife and deciding to settle in Maine, I chose to start something of my own instead.

That’s how Fetch Coins began.

What started as traveling to buy collections has grown into our current location, where we continue to work with people every day — helping them understand what they have and offering fair, straightforward deals.
